HECTIC FEW WEEKS!!!!

So the past few weeks have been super crazy at the Sartain house!!! Anderson had his 2 month checkup, I got very sick with horrible kidney stones, my dad got pnemonia, and my best friend got married!!! so here is the run down on the past few weeks!

Anderson has had a nasty cold for a few weeks now, so on his 2 month check up (with his NEW pediatrician, whom we LOVE) we FINALLY got some antibiotics to help his nasty little cough and his bad ear infection! Anderson now weighs 14 and a quarter pounds and is 24 and 1/2 inches long!!! He is growing so fast and getting cuter everyday I might add!!! He is starting to feel a little better, but he still has a nasty little cough so I am starting to think he has his daddy's allergys!

So last Saturday was my best friends Bachelorette party, that i was throwing since i was the Matron of Honor! The plan was to meet at Shogun for dinner at 7 so at about 5:45 I started getting Anderson ready to go to my mom's and Bradley was walking out th edoor heading to Martin for Homecoming. I was in my bathroom with Anderson when all of a sudden I got a sharp pain like someone stabbed me in my left side! I almost passed out olding Anderson in my arms, luckily i made into my bedroom and put him down on my bed! I regained my compusre and got into the livingroom to call my mom. After she got to my house we got packed up and went ahead to Methodist North emergency room, I must say Kidney Stone pain is 20 times worse than labor pains!!!! We got to the emergency room and called Bradley so he could go ahead and get on the road to Memphis. Long story short, I have 13 kidney stones, well 12 now since the one that put me in the hospital I passed Tuesday morning, and we are now waiting on the results of what is causing my body to make so many kidney stones at once. My rologist said this was the first time he has ever seen this many at one time! So hopefully i will find out Tuesday what is going on!!!!

To add to the horrible week we were all having my dad got very sick with pnemonia! My poor mom had to take care of me and my dad all last week and I know she was about to go out of her mind! Luckily she is a very wonderful woman and did everything she could to make me and daddy very comfortable! This week is going much better and hopefully the rest of my kidney stones are happy where they are for right now becuase I cannot miss ANYMORE work!!!!

This weekend was my best friend Tiffanys wedding weekend! We had the rehearsal Friday night and the rehearsal dinner at Marlo's Down Under in Covington, it was very yummy! Everyone had a great time and Tiff married a great guy (Dan) and into a wonderful family! The Wedding day went off without any major hitches (as everyone knows something ALWAYS goes wrong on your wedding day) and Tiffany looked so beautiful in her dress! The reception was a blast and everyone had a great time dancing and celebreating Dan and Tiffany's happy day!! We wish them all the happiness in the world!!!

So now that it is Monday, I am very happy that things are somewhat back to normal! We have the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this Saturday and I am sooooo ready for this! and after the race we are taking Anderson to his Grandnana's to trick or treat and help her pass out candy to all of her trick or treaters! Anderson is going to be a skeleton this year and he is soooo cute in his costume! I will post some updated pictures of Anderson soon, I have to start my busy day!!!!

8 weeks old!!!

The past few weeks have been so much fun in the Sartain house! Anderson has been getting so big and learning how to do all sorts of new things! He got to go to his first Heritage Day Festival and we have been getting in a great routine with his babysitter! It has gotten easier leaving Anderson with Holli every morning, but I still miss him ALL day long at work! He loves it at Holli's house and Holli's oldest Cameron LOVES him! This is Jodie and Cameron feeding my little man! He is such a big helper!

Anderson also got to go to his very first heritage day festival! He was soo good and LOVED being strolled around in the pretty weather! Mommy, Daddy, and Gammi got to visit with lots of friends and then Gammi got to take Anderson for the day so I could throw my friend Tiffany a Bridal Shower in Memphis. That same night Daddy stayed home with Anderson so I could go out with the girls! We had a blast and I was very grateful for the time to relax! Here is Anderson getting ready for Heritage Day

Anderson has also started sleeping through the night! He has slept from 10 to 5:00 am every night this week and I must say mommy and daddy are enjoying it very much =) He is doing so good on his schedule and we are so proud! Our sweet man is 8 weeks old today and we are amazed at how much he has changed already!
