Time Marches on.....

To quote my favorite Tracy Lawrence song, time is definitely moving right along, and our little boy is not so little any more. Last week he discovered Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear......I have friends with older children that warned me he would latch on to a movie and we would be forced to watch it over and over again. I did not think it would happen this soon, but the time is here. For the last week almost every word out of Anderson's mouth has been "I WANT BUZZ", or "WHERE IS WOODY"? Do not get me wrong, I love watching him get excited over movies...it literally made me cry when he sat in my lap and watched the whole movie with me, but I must say Toy Story is getting old lol. He has gotten such a little personality here lately! He has ALWAYS been a really personable baby, but now he will just light up a room! He is talking in sentences now and I could not be more proud! He has the cutest southern draw and is just smart as a whip (I'm his momma so I can brag). He can pick colors out of his crayon box, and he can bring you anything you ask him to go get for you. He is just the light of our lives and I love waking up to him screaming Momma into the monitor lol. I must admit the baby fever has set in on me a little, we are waiting until next spring to really start trying for baby #2, but a lot of my girlfriends are pregnant now and I can help but be a little jealous...to make it worse they are all having GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!! If you know the Sartain family, having a little girl may not be in the cards for me, and I would certainly be so happy with another little boy, but I would sooo love to have a little girl! anyways, i have started rambling......We are ready for Christmas and cannot wait to spend it with our family. We hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and God Bless

Tis' the Season

We are officially in Holiday mode at the Sartain house, and cannot wait to get the Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities started! I will say I am quite proud that I should, keyword SHOULD, have my shopping done by Thanksgiving and all of it wrapped and under the tree! Thank goodness for Wal-Mart layaway!!!!! Christmas is my favorite time of year and this year is no exception! I fight with Bradley every night begging him if we can put up the tree, sadly he says no lol. We do plan on putting up the tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving and then going to Zoo Lights that night! I have never been to Zoo Lights so we are all so excited, Anderson loved Zoo Boo so I'm sure he will love this. Other than this, not much is going on, just working and spending as much time together as possible! Anderson is growing up way to fast and has his 15 month checkup next Friday. I'm anxious to see if he has hit the 30lb mark yet! he sure feels heavier to me lol. On another note mom is doing great! she is healing very well and will hopefully be going back to work the first week in December, so thank you all for your prayers and well wishes! Hope you all have a great week and thank you for checking in!!!!

ZooBoo!

I am finally at my moms house and able to update you all on how big Anderson is getting! Last Halloween Anderson was only 2 months old and fighting a nasty cold, this year he was 14 months and fighting another nasty cold! However, he still had a blast this Halloween! We bought tickets to Zoo Boo at the Memphis Zoo and it was such a blast! Anderson hasn't been to the zoo since he was about 6 months old and he was soooo amazed by everyone in costumes. We went to the creatures of the night exhibit and he was in hog heaven! When we got to the bats he would just oooo and aaaah and say BAT! but of course every other animal was a "puppy", that's his favorite word. Halloween night was the next Monday and it was fun as well! We got off of work and went to my grandmothers house to pass out candy. Anderson hit a few houses but with this cold he has we stayed in most of the night. So all in all it was a pretty good Halloween and now we are waiting anxiously for Thanksgiving =) Here are some pictures from Zoo Boo!
